Liberty Security Fencing have been felling their well-regarded
product for a number of years. They seem to have found a niche
because of their use of timber rather than a more traditional steel
Apparently they chose timber because there was a lot of rough
second hand timber around at the time. This meant they could
produce something that was sturdy, but was not ridiculously
heavy, and was unlikely to be stolen as a source of scrap metal.
Due to customer response they have stayed with timber, buying
direct from some of the timber concerns who supply the mining
companies with pit props. As a customer, LSF is valued because
they want sizes and grades the mining companies have no use
